It combines clinically studied PRO-biotic bacteria with a PRE-biotic that helps those strains thrive. In clinical studies, this innovative combo encouraged remarkable improvement in enzyme markers of liver health.   This clinically studied synbiotic combo promotes liver health and helps maintain a balanced digestive microbiome. FLORASSIST® Liver Restore™ Benefits Promotes a healthy balance of good to bad bacteria in your digestive tract Helps inhibit inflammatory factors to support liver health Encourages healthy levels of liver enzymes and other liver health biomarkers Your liver and your digestive system are connected—literally—by a blood vessel called the portal vein. This vein brings blood from your digestive tract directly to your liver. This blood contains nutrients from the foods you eat. But it also contains toxins and other unwanted compounds—stuff that’s often created by undesirable bacteria in your gut. The more unwanted bacteria you have, the more these compounds may end up filtering through your liver.1-3 Hand in hand – gut microbiome and liver health That’s where FLORASSIST® Liver Restore comes in. This clinically studied combo helps encourage a healthy ratio of gut bacteria by providing 7 liver-friendly probiotic strains along with a prebiotic called a fructooligosaccharide. Together, this synbiotic formula helps crowd out the unwanted bacteria that create the stuff your liver doesn’t like.4,5 And it works. Encouraging results in clinical studies Study 1—overweight: in a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial, two groups of overweight subjects followed an energy-balanced diet and physical activity regimen and took two capsules of the same synbiotic blend found in FLORASSIST® Liver Restore every day for 28 weeks.6 The study measured enzymes that are commonly used to judge liver health. While statistical differences between the placebo and synbiotic groups appeared in just 7 weeks, at the end of the study the synbiotic group had shown remarkable improvement.6 The probiotic-prebiotic combo in FLORASSIST® Liver Restore also helped improve measurements of C-reactive protein, a biomarker produced in the liver.  Healthy hsCRP levels can be consistent with liver health.7 In this study, hsCRP measurements improved by 54% after 28 weeks.6 Study 2—healthy BMI: a second study mimicked the first, except used subjects with a normal body mass index. The results were similar. The placebo group exhibited an improvement in liver enzyme biomarkers by only 3%, while the synbiotic group improved by 17% after 28 weeks of supplementation.4 In this study, hsCRP improved by 46% after 28 weeks.4 There are many things you can do to help protect your liver at any age, such as eating right, exercising regularly, maintaining a healthy body weight, and taking FLORASSIST® Liver Restore every day.
