Bacteria, both healthy and otherwise—and our health depends on the good guys outnumbering the bad bacteria. But good bacteria are under siege from dietary and environmental influences, as well as other factors. Fortunately, promoting healthy bacteria in our digestive tract can have a positive impact on overall health and well-being. FLORASSIST® GI was reformulated to do just that. FLORASSIST® GI with Phage Technology is our Best in Class probiotic formula. Probiotics promote digestive health and a healthy balance of bacteria in your intestines. Our formula also delivers an innovative bacteriophage blend that targets unwanted bacteria. We’ve combined both using advanced, dual-encapsulation technology. Proprietary probiotic blend All healthy individuals have billions of beneficial bacteria in the gastrointestinal tract that are essential for healthy digestion, nutrient absorption and elimination of waste.1,2 Probiotics are supplements and foods that contain specific strains of healthy bacteria in adequate amounts to confer a health benefit. They support optimal digestive health, in part by helping to keep undesirable bacteria at bay.3 But that’s not all. Properly formulated probiotics can offer health benefits for the entire body. They can positively modulate cell-signaling pathways and promote healthy immune and inflammatory responses.4-6 FLORASSIST® Balance delivers seven probiotic strains: Bifidobacterium breve Bbr8; Lactobacillus plantarum 14D; B. animalis ssp. lactis BLC1; L. paracasei IMC 502; L. rhamnosus IMC 501; L. acidophilus LA1; B. longum ssp. longum SP54. Plus, the FLORASSIST® probiotic blend is formulated to work with the TetraPhage blend.7 TetraPhage blend A bacteriophage is a tiny bundle of DNA or RNA that attaches to a specific strain of unwanted bacteria in the intestines—which is bad news for them!8 Our TetraPhage blend contains four bacteriophages that have been shown in a clinical study to target certain unfavorable strains of bacteria and encourage the growth of beneficial flora.9 The best probiotic formula we have to offer This is our Best in Class probiotic formula.
