Ledebouria socialis 'Miner'

Ledebouria socialis 'Miner'  An extremely attractive dwarf succulent bulb from South Africa. It is also known as Scilla violacea. This form is 1/4 the size of the normal L. socialis and has really nice silver green leaves with dark lines. The bulbs are reddish purple, often covered in old scales.  Flowers are small, green and pink. They are produced off and on throughout the growing season, but especially in the spring. Clumps readily and grows fairly quickly for a succulent. Easy to grow. Likes regular moisture but don't keep the soil wet. It is a succulent and will rot if kept overly wet. In the winter cut back more on the water. It may or may not drop its leaves in the winter depending on conditions. Either way is ok for the plant. This is not a full sun plant, at least in the west and south (it may be ok further north). It likes afternoon shade, and can even grow in full shade as long as it is bright. Protect from frost. You will receive the plant shown in the last image or one similar. Plants shown in a 3.5" pot.  Important Shipping Information PLANTS ARE SHIPPED BARE ROOT If you want me to send them in pots send me a message to discuss. Extra charges due to increased shipping costs will apply. Immediate Payment (eBay only) Sorry! I can no longer offer a delayed purchase option as the multichannel inventory management system I have started using requires this setting. No Delayed Shipping (eBay only) Once you pay I have to (and WILL) ship within 3 business days or eBay will lower my seller rating. I used to have a way to delay shipping but can no longer do this for the same reason as #2 above. Feel free to message me before buying to see if we can figure something out here, no promises though. Winter Shipping If you live in a cold climate consider including a 96 hour heat pack in your order during the cold months. I have them as a listing. Just add it to your order. If you don’t see them just message me. Thank you!
