Leather Vest - Brown

Originally starting this leather program with a WWII-era Dispatch Vest, the leathers quickly turned into something more. Used by military and blue collar workers alike, we came across one that had a really great wear pattern and patina in all the right ways. To make it even better, the vintage reference had a hand-made wool lining, meaning whoever owned it sewed in their own wool lining.  We wanted each garment to feel unique, and each panel of each garment to look worn and worn in different ways, which is not an easy task in a commercial production setting. However, we think the end result was pretty damn good.  We were able to source a nice supple cowhide and our factory did a hell of a job making each panel feel unique and uniquely worn. We then took some leftover melange moleskin fabric we used on our Moleskin Outlaw shirt from a couple years ago in place of the original's wool lining.  It's never easy to introduce new leather into the mix, but these two garments feel right at home. 100% Cow Leather Lining: 68% Polyester, 32% Cotton Moleskin Tumbled, faded, and lightly distressed Custom corozo concha buttons Lined pockets Made in China
