Vegan leather, or leatherette, is faux leather often made from vinyl, polyurethane or polycarbonate, and contains no animal products.  MakerStock leatherette has a durable, heavy duty 100% polyurethane face, making it suitable for laser cutting and engraving. The backing on our black vegan leather is a polyester and cotton blend.  To clean, we recommend a spot clean using the foam from a water-based cleaning agent such as a mild dish detergent.
