Lead Corners & Batten Strips

High-Grade Batten Strips Utilize wall batten strips as part of shielding fabrications that protect against X-ray penetration in medical and industrial environments. Lead batten strips can be used in CT and PET scan rooms, dental and general radiation X-ray rooms, and more. Wall batten strips block radiation, ensuring potentially harmful rays are contained in one area. Batten strips are a key component of radiation shielding systems. Fix lead strips to vertical drywall joints to prevent gaps in radiation protection. With a high density, high atomic number, and high level of stability, lead is an extremely reliable shielding material. Engineered from high-grade lead, batten strips are also durable and secure, protecting patients and medical staff for years. They integrate seamlessly into drywall systems and are easy to install. Note that all of our products meet regulatory standards providing both peace of mind and compliance.
