Freud Chaise Lounge

The Magical "Relaxing Machine" Inspired by the most famous article of furniture from the past century — the Le Corbusier LC4 chaise. The dynamic frame naturally changes shape to match your body's contours and motions. When you sit up, it sits up. When you lie down, it lies down.  Made of top-grain cowhide and hand-buffed steel, the chaise is as stunning and durable as it is comfortable.  Materials Top-grain Cowhide Leather Cowhide makes the strongest leather on the market. Using only the top-grain ensures a consistently smooth color and texture. Hand-buffed 304 Stainless Steel Like all the best steel furniture, the chaise comes with incredible strength, load-bearing capacity and corrosion-resistance. But, unlike all steel furniture, this hand-buffed 304 steel contains chromium and nickel — giving it an extra bit of luster and strength. 35-Density Foam + Cotton To be a proper homage, the chaise needed to be deeply, and unequivocally, comfortable. For us, that was all in the cushion pads. We made ours with a double-layer fill of 35-density foam and ultra-soft cotton. The cotton makes it plush. The foam provides support. Leather Straps + Metal Buckles We wanted every part to be be strong and luxurious — even the ones you can't see. That's why we made the straps out of real leather and the buckles out of metal.  Design Inspired by the Le Corbusier LC4 Chaise The LC4 Chaise Lounge — or the 'Relaxing Machine', as it's often called — is the most memorable article of furniture from the 20th century. Designed in 1929, it has only gotten more popular with time. Today, it can be found everywhere from posh hotel rooms to the permanent collections of design museums. The "Relaxation Machine" True to its inspiration, the essential chaise is a true "rest machine". The dynamic frame naturally changes shape to match your body's contours and motions. When you sit up, it sits up. When you lie down, it lies down.  Size Guide Height 24.5" Length 60.6" Width 22"
