"Layers of Light" (series of 8)

5x8 • Mixed Media Small Works on Paper Series of 8 These small pieces explore the interplay of collage and color to express lightness, renewal, and the beauty of abstraction. Warm pinks, golden yellows, and subtle pops of red dance across textured surfaces, blending torn paper and painterly strokes. The compositions balance softness with energy, allowing the layers to reveal glimpses of hidden stories and fleeting emotions. Each piece invites the viewer to interpret its abstracted forms, finding meaning in the harmony of color, shape, and texture. Together, they celebrate the beauty found in layering, both in art and in life.
