Layered Radiance

This captivating mixed-media work on canvas presents a compelling central motif. The artist employs a textured ground of acrylic paint, enriched with the shimmering interplay of copper, silver, and gold leaf fragments. These metallic elements create a captivating focal point, their inherent luminosity catching and reflecting light. A central circular element, rendered in concentric bands of blue and brown, provides a contrasting geometric form. The edges of the metallic area are uneven, suggesting a natural, almost organic, spread. The overall effect is a harmonious balance of organic texture and refined metallic detail, rendered with understated elegance.
