Phenomenal Lavender

Phenomenal Lavender (Lavandula x intermedia 'Phenomenal') is a standout variety prized for its exceptional hardiness, fragrant blooms, and striking silvery foliage. This versatile, low-maintenance perennial produces long spikes of lavender-blue flowers from mid-summer to early fall, attracting pollinators like bees and butterflies. Known for its superior tolerance to heat, humidity, and cold, Phenomenal Lavender is ideal for a wide range of climates and is perfect for use in borders, rock gardens, and mass plantings. Its strong fragrance makes it a popular choice for herb gardens or near pathways where its scent can be enjoyed. In addition to its beauty and fragrance, Phenomenal Lavender is highly drought-tolerant once established, making it an excellent option for xeriscaping and low-water gardens. The plant thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, forming neat, compact mounds that reach up to 24-32 inches tall and wide when in flower. Whether used as an accent plant or in mass plantings, Phenomenal Lavender adds a touch of elegance and color to any landscape. At the same time, its fragrant flowers can be harvested for dried arrangements, sachets, or essential oils. Phenomenal Lavender is also deer and rabbit-resistant, making it a reliable choice for gardens where wildlife may be an issue. Its long-lasting blooms and evergreen foliage provide year-round interest, even in colder climates. With its exceptional resilience and classic lavender scent, this variety is a top choice for gardeners seeking a low-maintenance, fragrant, and visually appealing addition to their outdoor spaces.
