Steam-distilled Lavandula x intermedia "Grosso"(Lavender) essential oil from my own plants grown in Oak Run, California. Slow distilled in a hybrid stainless steel and copper still. Grosso is a hybrid of two species of lavender, Lavandula angustifolia, and Lavandula latifolia. It has the best traits of each of the parent plants and it widely used for essential oil production. The aroma is sweet, floral and herbaceous. See GCMS analysis. I recommend never using essential oils full strength directly on your skin but to only use them diluted as they are very concentrated.
