"I used Las aventuras de Miguelito with my brand-new Spanish students and it made an incredible difference in their confidence levels! The chapters are short and use a lot of conversational Spanish vocabulary.  I read the narrative paragraphs to the class but ask students to take the roles of the characters and read the actual conversations out loud. I then give my students time to re-read the chapter to themselves and answer the list of preguntas listed at the end of each chapter. The student response has been amazing! My kids are so pleased to be able to easily de-code an entire book in Spanish—and having a real interest in Miguelito’s story has really reinforced their vocabulary skills. I am very happy to have the Cartas a Susana sequel to introduce to my second-year students. ¡Muchas gracias!" Carolyn C., HS Spanish Teacher from Michigan
