Larsen Il Cannone Silver Violin E-String

Paganini's dedication of his groundbreaking 24 Caprices, in 1820, was ". . . to the Artists". In this same spirit, Larsen created their latest violin string masterwork, new Il Cannone strings, in tribute to this greatest of all violinists, and to his magnificent violin, the Guarneri del Gesu that he called Il Cannone. The Il Cannone Silver string set introduces a bold, shining voice to the Il Cannone family. Designed for violinists seeking a silvery brilliance with an increased overtone resonance and superior projection. This set features five strings, including two distinct E-strings to match your sound: a bold & powerful Silver E and a sparkling & focused Caprice E with higher tension. The Silver E- and Caprice E-strings both feature a removable ball end and are made using a unique carbon steel. Il Cannone Silver is designed to respond swiftly under the bow, whilst offering nuanced control across dynamics and color. It offers high bow resistance and a wide dynamic range with fast, articulate response while maintaining a flexible feel under the fingers. The distinct sonic character is defined by radiant clarity with luxurious overtones making Silver a perfect choice for performance in larger halls and those seeking a more vibrant presence. “I was immediately struck by the brilliance and clarity of the Il Cannone Silver strings. They offer incredible projection and a powerful, vibrant tone that fills even the largest halls with ease. The resonance across all four strings is beautifully balanced – rich and responsive, yet always refined. This set doesn’t just complement the instrument; it completes it. These strings have become an essential part of my sound. “Il Cannone Silver are definitely Soloist material. This new set delivers what the name suggests: A silvery, clear tone.” Josef Špaček – “LeBrun; Bouthillard” Guarneri del Gesù (1732) Instrument: Violin String Type: E (Silver) Size: 4/4 Gauge: Medium Silver E-String: Carbon steel with removable ball
