Inspired by 18th-century bubble carafes, the Adelaide Large Oval Platter encircles its edge with a delicate border of hand-cut beading — a necklace in ceramic that lends an understated opulence to anything it holds. Hand-shaped in Paris from black terracotta clay and finished in Astier de Villatte's luminous white porcelain glaze, its generous surface is as well suited to a cheese course or a pile of fruit as it is to the centerpiece of a long, unhurried breakfast.
