Large Jacaranda Giraffe Sculpture

Talented Kenyan carvers whittle these gorgeous giraffe sculptures from jacaranda wood, finished with burned contours, etched patterns, and a glossy clear coat. Because these sculptures are fully handmade, each giraffe exhibits its own characteristics. Sold singly. Because this is a handcrafted item, each will vary slightly. Dimensions: 6"L x 3"W x 18-19"H Crafted from: Jacaranda wood Made in: Kenya About the Artisans: We work with an amazing co-op in Kenya, the Gikomba Wood Carving Cooperative, a group of woodcarvers of all ages who work in an open-air workshop in Nairobi. This environmentally-responsible group takes care to legally procure all types of African wood used in their products, and they are skilled at using all parts of the tree in their artwork.
