EGG LARGE BROWN (PREORDER)

30 dozen Large Brown Egg aka "Huang-Ji-Dan", "黃鸡蛋", "黃雞蛋" The large brown egg is a chicken egg, sourced from the USA. The large brown egg has the same structure as the large white egg other than the color of the eggshell. The difference in color is due to the different breeds of hen. The brown feather hens produce brown shell eggs while the white feather hens produce white shell eggs. Both eggs are used the same way. The minimum net weight per dozen for a size large egg is 24 oz. Handling Tip Selection The eggshell is clean and uncracked. Storage The large brown egg should be stored below 40°F (4.4°C).  The typical shelf life is three to five weeks for the best quality. The large brown egg is sensitive to odor and should not be stored with strong aroma items.
