Lapis Lazuli - Rough

Lapis is an ancient semi-precious mineral that people have valued since before recorded history. Lapis has powerful energy for whatever it is being used for. For example, if you use it for stress relief, inner peace, and relaxation, lapis will work quickly and thoroughly. If you want to strengthen your manifestation, simulate the higher mind or achieve spiritual attunement, Lapis provides decisive and swift action in these endeavors. For this reason, some people shy away from this stone as it often works too well; this stone is not subtle. In addition, it reveals the inner truth, releases inner bondage and repression, and charges you to take control of your life. It can provide an understanding of your dreams, stimulate communication and help you to connect and achieve the “perfect self.” One may relate this energy to the Hindu lord Shiva in the Nataraja form, as the god dances and destroys the ignorance and illusions of the world but offers to his followers protection and to not be afraid- this is the vibration of lapis.  Location of Origin: Sar-i-Song, Afghanistan  Roughly: 111.68 g  4.5 cm x 7.0 cm
