Eldvarm Lantern Emma

The concept for this lantern was conceived on a summer evening, while Eldvarm's founder, Louise, was enjoying the company of friends around the outdoor fireplace at her family's summer retreat in southern Sweden. One of her friends, an admirer of the wood basket Emma, was convinced that the same shape could be repurposed for a candle lantern. Designer Emma Olbers took on the challenge, and the result is this exquisite hurricane lantern. While originally designed for candle use, our lantern boasts versatility and can serve as a vessel for flowers or plants (maintain the outer pot and avoid overfilling it with water above the lower edge of the leather), or as a small bowl when the glass is removed. We take pleasure in mixing and matching different colors.
