Lansky Mini Dog Bone Sharpener

Quick, Easy, and Portable Sharpening for Pocket Knives and Outdoor Blades The Lansky Mini Dog Bone Sharpener is the perfect solution for quick touch-ups and maintenance when you're on the go. Compact and durable, this handy sharpener fits easily in your pocket, tackle box, or on your keychain, making it a must-have for campers, hikers, hunters, and anyone who relies on their knives in the field. Durable Ceramic Construction The Mini Dog Bone Sharpener features a high-quality 1,000 grit equivalent alumina ceramic rod designed to maintain its effectiveness over years of use. Unlike traditional sharpening stones that require oil or water, this ceramic sharpener works dry, giving you a fast, hassle-free sharpening experience wherever you are. When the alumina ceramic sharpening rod becomes dark with metal particles from the sharpening process, use the Lansky® Eraser Block or household cleanser to restore its fast cutting action. Safe and Comfortable to Use Colorful rubber end caps not only make the sharpener easy to spot but also serve as finger guards, providing a secure, comfortable grip during sharpening. These end caps also help guide your sharpening angle, making it easier to achieve consistent results, even if you're new to sharpening. To use, place the blade’s edge against the ceramic rod. While maintaining a consistent angle and with even pressure gently push the entire edge across the rod in a single stroke, much like attempting to slice a thin layer off the rod. Stroke 3-5 times and repeat this on the reverse side of the blade. Continue this process until the blade is sharp. Ultra-Portable Design At just over 4 inches long, the Lansky Mini Dog Bone Sharpener is built for portability. An integrated keychain hole lets you attach it to your keyring, backpack, or gear bag so it’s always ready when you need it most. Keep Your Edge Sharp—Anywhere, Anytime. Whether you're deep in the woods or just maintaining your everyday carry knife, the Lansky Mini Dog Bone Sharpener delivers reliable performance in a compact package.
