Techno Oud

Techno Oud by Landcaster is a fragrance for Women & Men.  Indonesian Oud × Neroli × Bergamot × Red Saffron × Frankincense The idea here was to reveal the character of natural oud from the very beginning. Bergamot brings freshness, allowing Neroli and natural Indonesian Oud to sit together without overwhelming the composition. Red Saffron adds a dry spiciness, while Frankincense connects the fresh opening with the resinous oud character of the fragrance. + Osmanthus × Champaca Osmanthus creates a peachy-apricot impression. Champaca adds floral volume with a creamy warmth. + Indonesian Oud × Tobacco × Beeswax At this stage, the oud becomes much more noticeable. Beeswax gives the composition density, while Tobacco adds a dry, slightly smoky nuance, preventing the oud from becoming too sweet alongside Osmanthus and allowing its character to remain clearly present. + Violet × Patchouli Violet adds a subtle powderiness, while Patchouli brings dryness and depth, giving the composition a slightly drier character. + Indonesian Oud × Patchouli × Labdanum × Copal × Myrrh The fruity character gradually fades, and the oud begins to work more closely with the resins. Labdanum adds warm resinous density, while Patchouli reinforces the darker, earthy-woody side of the base. An interesting fact from the creator: This Indonesian oud was discovered completely by chance. Since 2023, I have regularly purchased small quantities of natural materials from different countries, including genuine ambergris. One day, I was arranging the purchase of another small piece of ambergris from a fisherman in Indonesia. During a video call, one of his acquaintances was sitting next to him. Neither of them spoke English. At one point, the man started explaining something in Indonesian and held several small containers of a very dark, almost black liquid up to the camera. I immediately thought it might be oud. In the end, together with a round black-and-white piece of genuine ambergris, the fisherman sent me two tolas of this oil to try. When I received and tested it, I found that its character was very different from the oud attars I already had in my collection. The oil was exceptionally powerful and dense, with a very distinctive Indonesian profile. After the first tests, I contacted them again by video call and purchased a significantly larger quantity specifically for the second collection. In the end, this Indonesian oud, discovered completely by chance, became one of the key natural materials used in the second collection.
