Lanchester House Plan

A trio of gable-topped dormers dominate an elegant wraparound porch of the Lanchester plan. This beautiful design is accented by its slumped arches and wraparound front porch. This design captures the essence of country living. Sunlight floods in from double transom fan lights accentuating the front entry. The columned front porch of the Lanchester and the varied rooflines are sure to catch attention. The Lanchester plan's centerpiece, an impressive, open great room, features a fireplace, built-in cabinetry and French doors. The great room sits under a vaulted beamed ceiling. The kitchen has a large center island for additional counter space. The breakfast nook looks out to the rear porch through floor to ceiling windows. Upstairs, a pair of spare bedrooms feature built-in desks and walk-in closets. A stepped ceiling, walk-in closets and a lavish bath complement the master suite. Loads of walk-in closets and storage spaces are common. Second-story bedroom occupants will enjoy either a built-in desk and/or the charm of a dormer view. In the heart of the home the kitchen provides specialty cabinetry with its pass-through bar and central island. Several interior columns help define the formal dining area and showcase the pass-through bar. This also provides additional seating. The master bedroom of the Lanchester plan has two large walk in closets. The master bedroom has french doors leading out to the rear porch. The master bath houses a whirlpool, a walk-in shower and a double vanity. There is a separate water closet for additional privacy. This lovely floor plan offers 2334 square feet of living area, and the plan has three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The plan is designed with a crawlspace foundation.
