Lamson Speedster S-Series HD Reel

Lamson Speedster S HD Fly Reel High octane. Heavy duty. Built to hold line where it belongs. Following the lead of the Guru S HD, the Speedster S HD is a full-cage, heavy-duty reel designed for one mission: total line control when it matters most. The full-cage frame is the real difference-maker here. It eliminates the spool/line-guard gaps that thin-diameter running lines love to slip through — meaning no more line escapes, no more jams, and no more failures at the worst possible moment. Both the Speedster S HD and standard Speedster S feature a taller, narrower profile compared to other reels in Lamson’s lineup — a format that balances fast pickup, clean line stacking, and a strong, stable feel on the rod. Lamson also refined the machining process for this generation, focusing material only where it’s structurally needed. The result is a reel that’s significantly lighter and higher-performing than its predecessor, while still delivering true HD durability. Finished in Battleship, powered by Lamson’s trusted Sealed Conical Drag, and built in Idaho — this is a reel made for anglers who fish hard, run thin lines, and don’t want surprises. US Made.
