Spontaneous. Unrelenting. All it takes is a slight shift in Cleveland’s perpetually-swirling winds to turn the home of the Browns into a snow globe. To the visitors, it’s a nightmare — an unexpected, icy slap in the face. To the Cleveland Browns and their fans — seasoned always to be ready for a sudden shift in the elements — it’s a warm reminder that the ultimate home-field advantage is best served cold. We introduce you to Lake Effect. From the chalky soil of the Carneros region in southern Napa Valley, this gem exhibits lush green apple and bright grapefruit notes while dancing across your palate. This stunning wine is light and friendly with very subtle vanilla and pear blossom hints on the nose. Balanced fruit with tarte acidity makes this wine a classic example of Premium Napa Chardonnay. Warehouse District: From the mid-19th century and the decades that followed, Clevelanders came here to work. Morning to night, dawn to dusk, they filed in and out of this small sliver of downtown to keep the city humming and buzzing with the sounds and smells of industry. Now, whether it’s before or after a Cleveland Browns game or any other moment worth an escape from the daily grind, it’s where they come to play with a vibrant mix of restaurants, nightclubs and mixed-use space. Its past, however, hasn’t been forgotten. Rather, with the same timeless Victorian facades workers would see at the start of their day, it’s fully embraced and appreciated in what is now a nationally recognized historic district. We introduce you to Warehouse District. This proprietary red blend – from our award-winning winemaker Todd Heth – exhibits dark blackberry, bing cherry and plum notes perfectly into layers of coffee and tobacco. The finish is dry with long lasting berry fruit. Silky but firm tannins, this wine is enjoyable now but has the ability to age well in the cellar. Retail Price: $294.50 Club 46 Member Price: $235.60
