Lightly massage with small movements for emulsification, then remove with a damp silken wipe.  Repeat as desired for the complete removal of impurities and makeup. Skin Science: When the skin suffers from a lipid deficit in the horny layer and a significant drop in water content, the hydrolipidic film is altered. It no longer fulfills its natural protective role: the skin becomes dry and loses its elasticity. It is also more vulnerable to physical, chemical, or microbial pathogens. To defend itself, it triggers an inflammatory reaction which can cause redness, itching, tightness, or irritation. It is essential to wash the face gently to preserve the skin’s physiological balance.
