Laine Magazine Issue 28

Our beautiful spring issue, Laine 28, Open Water, takes you on a boat trip to the sunny Baltic Sea: to sun-warmed cliffs, rocky beaches and balmy pine forests. The photos have a lovely retro touch, adding to the easygoing vibe. This abundant issue features 15 knits from international designers. You will find T-shirts and tops worked in summery yarns, as well as sweaters and cardigans that double as outerwear in the warmer months. Designers featured in this issue: Eun Mi Ahn, Fiona Alice, Autumn Buggs, Nicola Furey, Maria Gomes, Olivia Glennon, Anna Hechtman, Meiju Kallio, Pauliina Leisti, Lisa Meissner, Klara Nilsson, Sara Ottosson, Sanni Pauliina, Marie Régnier and Cata Rubke. In our articles, we meet Finnish knitwear designer Ronja Hakalehto, who balances a busy family life in a small village near the Arctic Circle while drawing inspiration from wild nature and solitude. We also visit the beloved Stephen & Penelope yarn shop in Amsterdam and find style inspiration with Aleksandra Solowianiuk. The issue includes our Favourites section, filled with inspiring short stories, tips, products, reviews and ideas. In the Five Ways feature, four experts share their favourite tools and notions for knitters.
