Lagavulin 11 Year Sweet Peat Aged In Bourbon Casks

Lagavulin 11 Year Old "Sweet Peat" Limited Edition Discover a sweeter side of Islay’s most intense malt. Nestor Liquor, your preferred partner for rare and limited-edition Scotch, is proud to present the Lagavulin 11 Year "Sweet Peat". This exceptional limited release offers a unique twist on the distillery's signature profile, created by aging the spirit exclusively in first-fill American Oak ex-bourbon casks. While Lagavulin is famous for its deep, savory peat smoke, this 11-year-old expression is designed to harmonize that power with profound sweetness. The first-fill bourbon barrels impart rich layers of vanilla, caramel, and toasted oak that soften the legendary Islay punch, resulting in a dram that is "deeply layered" and undeniably delicious. Adorned with the poetry of Robert Burns ("O thou, MY MUSE!"), this bottle celebrates the "sweet nectar of the mill in the valley". It is a rare opportunity to taste a softer, more approachable Lagavulin that retains the distillery's complex DNA. Bottle Stats: Age: 11 Years Cask Type: First-Fill American Oak Ex-Bourbon ABV: 43% (86 Proof) Profile: Sweet Peat Tasting Notes: Nose: A captivating balance of soft peat smoke and dessert-like sweetness.
