Lacing & Stringing Bead Set For Toddlers

Build fine motor skills through lacing play: Stringing jumbo beads strengthens hand muscles, improves finger control, and supports the skills kids need for writing, cutting, and self-care. Encourages bilateral coordination: Holding the lace with one hand while guiding beads with the other helps develop coordinated two-hand use—an important OT foundation skill. Supports visual-motor coordination: Kids practice eye-hand coordination and controlled movement as they aim, thread, and pull the lace through each bead. Early math learning made hands-on: Use the beads for counting, sorting, pattern building, sequencing, and simple early math concepts like “more/less” and grouping. Color and shape recognition: Bright colors and chunky shapes help toddlers practice matching, identifying, and categorizing as they play. Perfect for home, therapy, or classroom use: Great for OT sessions, preschool centers, quiet play, or skill-building activities at home. First Lacing & Stringing Beads are a classic early learning tool that helps toddlers build real developmental skills while having fun. Kids can string, stack, sort, and pattern the oversized beads to strengthen fine motor control, improve visual-motor coordination, and practice early math concepts. These beads are especially helpful for children who benefit from hands-on learning, including kids working on grasp strength, coordination, and attention during play. How to use in OT and early learning Simple lacing practice: Thread 5–10 beads at a time to build grip strength and attention. Color match challenge: Call out a color and have the child find and lace that bead first. Copy a pattern: Create an easy pattern (red-blue-red-blue) and have kids replicate it. Build a “bead tower”: Stack beads by shape or size to add visual perception and planning. Early math play: Count beads, compare groups, or make “sets of 3” for number sense practice. Learning concepts: Fine motor skills, bilateral coordination, visual-motor integration, color recognition, shape recognition, patterning, counting, and early math skills.
