Lab Desk Lamp

The Lab lamp is our archetypal version of a library light, and a physical realization of our appetite for weight and gravity. At 16 pounds, it is the most substantial of our lighting offerings, hand-crafted from solid brass that is painstakingly melted, cast and folded to achieve a striking, confident silhouette. Each element–from the double-headed curved directional shades to the pulls and the dimmer switch–is custom made in a 150-year-old French workshop, in a selection of alloys with our Roman and Williams Guild Living Finishes and handblown glass. Available as a Desk Lamp or Floor Lamp. Stephen Alesch and Robin Standefer’s Roman and Williams Guild Original Designs are each branded with our insignia and delivered with a Certificate of Authenticity. For general care and maintenance of your Roman and Williams Guild Lighting Fixtures, please refer to our Care Instructions. This piece is made to order. Lead time for signature finishes is approximately 12 - 14 weeks. Lead time for distinctive finishes is approximately 14-16 weeks.
