Ceramic Italian Striped Dish Set

A wonderfully graphic set of vintage Italian dishes by La Primula, decorated with hand-painted concentric stripes in raspberry pink and Mediterranean blue. There is something so effortlessly Italian about these: simple white ceramic transformed by just a few lines of color. They feel like something you'd encounter at a small seaside hotel or at lunch on a terrace and immediately want to bring home. I love them mixed into an otherwise simple table, white linen, colorful glassware, a bowl of lemons, olive oil in the middle. They're cheerful without being precious and exactly the sort of dishes that make an ordinary lunch feel like you're still On Holiday. Selected for Italo Disco and the Forgotten Island collection because the best table settings rarely come from buying everything new, or everything matching.
