La Befana Rag Doll | Italian Epiphany Doll & Christmas Tradition

Celebrate one of Italy’s most beloved holiday traditions with this La Befana Rag Doll, a sweet cloth doll inspired by the kind old woman from Italian folklore who brings treats and small gifts to children on the eve of the Epiphany, January 6. Crafted from quality linen fabric, this 15-inch La Befana doll features printed facial details with a gentle expression, soft gray hair, a bright red scarf, and Old World village-style clothing. She holds her broom close, just as she does in the traditional Italian story. She is a meaningful Christmas and Epiphany gift for Italian-American families, children, grandparents, collectors, and anyone who loves Italian folklore and heritage. This exclusive La Befana rag doll is modeled after the character in The Night of La Befana, written by Maria Centofanti and illustrated by Isabella Centofanti.
