Viking VAL3MO is the 24 V 1/2 HP DC motor and gear assembly for the Viking L-3 slide gate operator built before 2013. The assembly mounts in the L-3 chassis and drives the 41B25 sprocket (VAL3SP25) and #40 drive chain. FitsL-3 (24 VDC, built before 2013)Before You Order Match VAL3MO to the part number on the old motor/gear assembly. L-3 operators built in 2013 and later use the VNXL3MO motor. The pre-2013 K-2 uses a different motor, VAK2MO.
