The Eminence Platinum Series L12-40A is the Alnico-voiced heart of the Platinum lineup—a 12-inch, 40-watt guitar speaker designed to capture the warmth, chime, and musical compression that made the most legendary vintage amps iconic. Built with a premium Alnico magnet, the L12-40A responds dynamically to your picking hand, delivering harmonically rich cleans, smooth breakup, and expressive overdrive that sings. Purpose-built for players who crave “feel” over sheer power, the L12-40A is ideal for boutique amp builders, blues and classic rock players, and anyone seeking studio-ready Alnico tone in a reliable, American-made package.
