It was incredibly popular during the resort's 1970s, 80s, and 90s nightlife boom. The club was a staple of British and international tourist culture. It was particularly renowned for offering unbeatable budget-friendly deals. The original venue on Avenida del Mediterráneo no longer exists, but its former location became the rock club Underground.
