L'huile De Leonor Greyl

Pre Shampoo Oil Treatment Use this oil as a pre-shampoo treatment for dry, over-processed hair. Contains natural UVA/B filters, apply at the pool or beach to protect your hair from the drying and damaging effects of chlorine and salt water. Product Story: The idea for L’Huile de Leonor Greyl, formerly known as L’Huile de Palme, was first born during a trip to the French West Indies in the 1970s. Finding himself stranded during a hurricane, Mr. Greyl noticed that the rain seemed to run down the leaves of palm trees without ever wetting them. The plant’s incredible properties inspired him to use its oil in a haircare product that would protect hair by forming a waterproof film around each strand. Applied on the beach between swims, in salons as pre-color protection, or at home to repair hair, this oil quickly became a cult favorite. In 2013, palm oil was removed from the formula in favor of two new ingredients: coconut and Mongongo oil. 3.2oz
