L-CARNITINE-3000

L-Carnitine is an amino acid found abundantly in skeletal and heart muscle. It functions primarily to support fat utilization and also acts as a carrier of fatty acids into the mitochondria, where they are oxidized and converted to energy. In other words L-Carnitine helps our body to use fat as energy. Since L-Carnitine promotes fat as the primary source of energy, often greater amounts of glycogen are available in your muscles – allowing you to workout harder while ensuring that greater amounts of energy come from fat instead of muscle. In addition to supporting athletic performance, cardiac function, healthy lipid levels, and reproductive health, L-carnitine has also been shown to promote general wellbeing, appetite control, and carbohydrate metabolism.
