Kyushu Sencha

This tea is a great value for the quality. From Kagoshima Prefecture, in the far south of Japan, our Kyushu Sencha brews a rich, soft cup. The aroma is almost custard-like in its richness, and the tea is at once cooling in the mouth, and warming in the body. The liquor is sweet and brothy, with a hint of cedar and tartness. Affordable enough to be your everyday drinker, and interesting enough that you'll want it to be, we think Kyushu Sencha is a great addition to our family of Japanese teas. Water: 185°F / Leaves: 1 teaspoon per 8 ounces / Infusion Time: 2–3 minutes  Ingredients: A blend of green teas from Kagoshima, Japan.
