KV-8

The KV-8 was a Soviet heavy flamethrower tank used during World War II. Based on the KV-1 chassis, it replaced the main 76.2mm gun with a 45mm gun and a flamethrower, mounted in the turret. The KV-8 was designed to support infantry attacks by using its flamethrower to clear bunkers and fortified positions, combining heavy armor and flamethrower capability to enhance its effectiveness in close combat scenarios.
