KV-2 (small turret)

The KV-2 with a "small turret" is a bit of a misnomer, as the KV-2 is primarily known for its large, distinctive turret housing a 152mm howitzer. If referring to an early or prototype variant with a smaller turret, it would have been an experimental model that did not see widespread production or use. The standard KV-2, with its large turret, was designed to engage fortifications and heavy defenses, although its slow speed and heavy turret made it less effective in mobile combat situations.
