KV-1E

The KV-1E, or KV-1 "Ekranami," was a Soviet heavy tank from World War II, an upgraded variant of the KV-1. It featured additional bolted-on armor plates, known as appliqué armor, to enhance its protection against anti-tank weapons. Retaining the powerful 76.2mm gun, the KV-1E offered improved durability and continued to play a crucial role in Soviet defensive and offensive operations, especially against German armored forces.
