Processed as a green tea, Kukicha stands out for its unique flavor and aroma, owing to the use of plant parts rarely included in other teas. Typically sourced from the production of Sencha or Matcha. Kukicha is naturally low in caffeine, making it perfect for multiple infusions—often three to four. This green tea offers a mild, nutty flavor with subtle creamy and sweet notes. In Japan, Kukicha is also enjoyed as a broth for chazuke (tea over rice), cherished for its light and delicate profile compared to sencha or gyokuro.
