KT Pulse Back Wing

Includes: Front Wing with Cover KT Pulse Back Wing Downwind foiling, Race and speed focused wing foiling, High efficiency cruising, Dockstarts, Long distance pump and glide Sizes: 95 | 115 | 135 cm² A high aspect hyper efficiency oriented carbon tail designed to maximize glide, stability, and top end speed for downwind, race, and effortless energy riding. 95 The fastest and most responsive Pulse option. Best suited for lighter riders, smaller front wings, and race focused setups where minimizing drag is the priority. Common front wing matches include: • Solus, 565 and 650 downwind race setups • Smaller Atlas sizes in glide optimized configurations • Dockstart setups where quick acceleration and minimal drag matter 115 Kane’s favorite all rounder - the core Pulse size and most widely used option. Balances glide, pitch stability, and efficiency across a broad range of front wings and rider weights. Common front wing matches include: • Solus, 565 through 1110 for downwind race and cruise • Atlas, mid to large sizes for downwind and long glide sessions • Nomad when optimizing glide over surf performance feel 135 Maximum stability and glide within the Pulse family. Designed for larger front wings, heavier riders, or rougher water where maintaining efficiency and control is critical. Common front wing matches include: • Atlas, 960 through 1340 downwind setups • Solus, larger sizes in mixed or open ocean conditions • Light wind winging and dockstart setups prioritizing stability The Pulse Tail is KT’s highest efficiency stabilizer, built for riders prioritizing glide, speed, and sustained efficiency over tight turning response. It is designed to unlock speed and glide from any front wing and for situations where conserving energy and maintaining speed matter most. Compared to surf oriented tails like Atom, Pulse runs at lower angles for equivalent lift and delivers noticeably more glide and top end speed. The high aspect outline reduces induced drag and helps the foil carry speed through lulls, flat sections, and longer distances between bumps. Pulse is the tail of choice for downwind, race, and efficiency focused riding. It is also an efficient option for dock starts and flat water pumping when the goal is maximizing distance per pump rather than purely maneuverability.  Lower agility by design compared to surf oriented tails. Turning response is smooth, gradual, and floaty, rather than snappy, prioritizing stability and efficiency through longer arcs and sustained speed. Pulse is built for speed efficiency and acceleration. It carries speed exceptionally well once moving, making it easier to maintain glide through lulls, flat sections, and pumping. Top end speed is significantly higher than surf oriented tails, especially when paired with faster front wings and shorter fuselages.
