Krebs Popper Jig

KREBS POPPER JIG - This was a personal recommendation from the guys with Indigo Guide Service (indigoguideservice.com) while carp fishing Beaver Island, MI. They had a set on their tying table and told me (Evan) that the poppers work great. Not only does Beaver Island have monster carp, but there are some absolute huge smallies in the area. Noted Midwest fly tyer, Gary Krebs, personally designed these innovative new miter box-like jigs to allow fly tyers to create incredible custom popper bodies from foam cylinders in minutes! Get perfectly matched popper bodies every time. The face of each body is precisely angled to produce incredible action and the fastback style makes for a super-sleek body. These versatile jigs even allow you to vary the length of the body or create diver patterns by reversing the angle of the face. Our testing has proven these to be killers in both fresh and saltwater. You may never need to buy another pre-manufactured popper again! TWO SIZES: (SALTWATER/BASS SET includes jigs for making 1/2", 7/16", and 3/8" diameter poppers), BASS/PANFISH SET includes jigs for making 3/8", 5/16", and 1/4" diameter poppers) See item TX021 for Foam Cylinders.
