Each sound is sampled in detail to capture the full nuance and depth of the original instruments. Among the piano voices, you'll find options based on a bright, resonant Italian-made grand piano—ideal for expressive ballads or energetic jazz—as well as a German grand piano known for its clarity, power, and rich tonal complexity. The electric piano tones are designed to respond naturally to your touch, even reproducing the subtle key-off sound for added realism. You’ll also find organ tones suitable for rock and jazz, along with a classic pipe organ that brings a full, resonant character. Realistic Piano Touch The B2+ uses KORG’s Natural Weighted Hammer Action (NH) keyboard, delivering the familiar feel of a real acoustic piano. Keys in the lower register feel heavier, while those in the higher register are lighter, providing an authentic response that helps you develop proper technique. The keybed is sensitive to dynamic touch, letting you play with nuance and expression. For added personalization, you can choose between three levels of touch sensitivity—light, normal, or heavy—to match your playing style or skill level. Clear, Balanced Sound Built-in stereo speakers ensure that every note sounds full and articulate across the entire range of the keyboard. Carefully tuned for balanced frequency response, the speaker system brings out the warmth of the low end and the brightness of the upper register, making your playing sound clear and dynamic whether you're practicing quietly or playing at full volume. This sound quality not only enhances your enjoyment but also helps sharpen your ear and technique by making subtle details in your performance easier to hear. Seamless Connectivity The B2+ is designed to work easily with modern devices. Its USB Type-C port provides both MIDI and audio transmission, allowing you to connect directly to a computer, smartphone, or tablet. You can use it as a MIDI controller for music apps, record your performance digitally, or stream audio from your device through the piano’s speakers. There’s also a dedicated audio input, so you can plug in your phone or music player and play along with your favorite songs. This level of integration makes the B2+ a powerful tool for practice, composition, and performance alike. Included Software to Learn and Create To support your learning and creativity, the B2+ includes access to a set of premium music software. A three-month trial of Skoove offers interactive piano lessons that adapt to your pace and goals, combining ear training with step-by-step instruction. iOS users also gain access to KORG Module, a professional-grade sound module app featuring studio-quality piano and keyboard sounds. For music production, the included KORG Gadget 2 Le app delivers a collection of mini synthesizers and drum machines in a simple, intuitive environment—perfect for creating your own tracks on the go. These apps can be expanded further when used in combination with the B2+, offering an impressive range of options for players of all levels. Practical Details That Make a Difference The B2+ includes a wide, removable music rest designed to hold multiple pages of sheet music or a tablet. This thoughtful design makes it easy to follow along with digital scores or video lessons without constant page turning. A built-in metronome is also included, giving you a reliable way to keep time while practicing with the press of a button—an essential tool for developing timing and consistency. Choose the Setup That Fits You You can choose between two configurations: the streamlined B2+ or the B2+SP, which comes with a matching stand and a three-pedal unit for a more traditional playing experience.
