Saltopia Korean BBQ Salt

Sweet. Savory. Sesame. The Korean BBQ Salt That Brings the World's Most Beloved Barbecue Flavor to Your Kitchen. Korean BBQ has taken the world by storm — and for good reason. The flavor profile is unlike any other barbecue tradition: deeply savory soy, rich caramelized sugar, nutty sesame, pungent black garlic, and fresh scallion all working together in a sweet-savory harmony that's complex, addictive, and completely irresistible. SALTOPIA's Korean BBQ Salt captures that iconic flavor in a single infused sea salt. Brown sugar and turbinado sugar for a deep, caramelized sweetness. Black garlic for a rich, mellow, fermented savory depth. Sesame seeds for nutty warmth. Soybeans and wheat for authentic umami. Scallions for a fresh, bright finish. The result is a sophisticated, restaurant-quality Korean BBQ flavor that transforms chicken, steak, pork, rice, and stir-fries into something genuinely extraordinary — no marinade required. Contains Wheat & Soy. What Are the Best Sweet and Spicy Seasonings for Korean BBQ and Asian-Inspired Grilling? Authentic Korean BBQ flavor balances four key elements: a natural sweetener that caramelizes under heat, a fermented soy umami base, aromatic garlic depth, and nutty sesame that ties the whole profile together. SALTOPIA's Korean BBQ Salt delivers all four — turbinado and brown sugar for caramelized sweetness, soybeans and wheat for genuine soy umami, black garlic for rich fermented depth, and sesame seeds for nutty complexity. It's the go-to for cooks who want authentic Korean BBQ flavor on chicken, steak, pork, and rice without a lengthy marinade or a pantry full of individual ingredients. How to Use It: Chicken — All Cuts — Season chicken breasts, thighs, drumsticks, or wings generously before grilling, baking, or air frying. The sugar caramelizes into a deeply sweet, savory Korean BBQ glaze that makes chicken taste like it came off a Korean charcoal grill. Steak & Beef — Press Korean BBQ Salt onto both sides of a ribeye, strip, or skirt steak before cooking. The black garlic and soy umami amplify beef's natural savoriness while the sugar creates a gorgeous caramelized crust — classic Korean galbi flavor at home. Pork — Belly, Ribs & Loin — Exceptional on pork belly, ribs, and loin. The sweet-savory Korean BBQ profile is a natural pairing with pork's richness — rub generously before grilling or roasting for a deeply caramelized, sticky result. Stir-Fries — Add to any stir-fry during cooking for an instant Korean BBQ flavor that elevates the entire dish. The sesame and black garlic bloom beautifully in a hot wok for a deeply savory, aromatic finish. Rice — Stir into cooked rice or sprinkle over finished rice for a savory, sesame-forward lift that makes a simple side taste like it came from a Korean restaurant. Grilling — Use as a dry rub on anything going on the grill. The sugars caramelize into a gorgeous, sticky crust with a savory soy-garlic backbone that makes grilled proteins completely craveable. Roasted Vegetables — Toss with leafy greens or tuber vegetables before roasting for a sweet, savory, sesame-forward finish that makes vegetables taste like a Korean banchan side dish.
