Replacement RTC-RAM module used in Konami System 573 This is a replacement RTC-RAM for all Dance Dance Revolution System 573 motherboards. The RTC-RAM needs replaced if your arcade cabinet is displaying RTC error 161. When changing out the RTC(real-time clock)-RAM on your 573 board we recommend that you do not solder the new one directly to the board. Instead use the drop down menu above to add the optional RTC-RAM socket. You can then solder the socket in place and plug the new RTC-RAM chip into the socket. This will make the RTC-RAM much easier to change next time.
