Koi on Silver 48 x 72

"Koi on Silver" is part of a long-time series of koi paintings — imaginative interpretations capturing the movement and interaction of a koi pond. I start with a graphite drawing on the wood, then build the painting through about thirty layers — oils, washes, glazes, and metal leaf. 48" × 72" original on wood panel with a 2.25" silver-leafed edge. Wired in both directions so it can hang vertically or horizontally. One of a kind. Please allow up to 3 weeks for delivery on paintings larger than 48" × 48".
