Kobe 9 Elite High Protro

Kobe’s comeback from a torn Achilles inspired generations of past, present and future hoopers to keep fighting. The Kobe IX Protro brings back the shoe that supported the Black Mamba during his triumphant return to the floor and gives it an upgrade. A Flyknit upper complements a springy, responsive Nike React foam in an extra high-top with an exaggerated collar that performs like Kobe's low-top masterpiece. Flyknit Upper The Kobe IX was the first Nike basketball shoe to infuse a full Flyknit upper. It creates a seamless engineered upper that helps keep the shoe lightweight. Secure Fit Cables at the laces provide a secure fit at the midfoot when you lace up. Lateral Stability The carbon fiber plate in the outsole provides strong and lightweight lateral stability. Soft Responsiveness A Nike React foam removable insole offers responsive cushioning that helps your foot feel connected to the court. Durable Traction The pressure mapping-designed, minimal-rubber outsole delivers durable traction and mimics the natural contours of the foot.
