Koala Dreams 18" Doll Clothes Pattern

This sweet little nightshirt and accessory set, by FROG Princess Fashions, is a season-spanning design that goes from spring to summer with the shortie nightshirt and sleep shorts (made from French terry, lightweight cotton, seersucker, and waffle knits) to fall and winter with the longer sleeve and hem lengths (made from flannel, velour, brushed nylon, and more). Add the darling nightcap and matching booties and your 18” doll will be adorably attired for a sleepover or an overnight at Grandma’s.  The nightshirt has a front placket or two front yoke options, neckbands that can be made of a contrasting fabric, and off-the-shoulder dolman sleeves or wrist-length dolman sleeves with the sleeve extension and a sleeve band, which can also be stitched in a contrasting fabric. The hem band of the nightshirt can be self-fabric or contrasting, and the cute little nightcap also features a hem band that can be made of a contrast fabric for a complete matched ensemble. The nightshirt is designed to be roomy with a front neck opening as well as a convenient back closure for easy on and off. No hook and loop closure is needed. You can embellish with buttons on the placket or add cute little ribbon ties for closures, front and back. The shorts have an elastic waist that can be converted to a drawstring. The booties slide on and off with no closure. Just for fun, you can mix and match the nightshirt and the hem bands, neck bands, sleeve bands, and closures. Add some colorful little pompoms for embellishment and your 18” doll with beg for bedtime! Don’t forget creative embellishments from lace to rickrack to machine embroidery.
