KMC MissingLink 9 – Reusable Master Links – 9-Speed – Silver (Pair)

The KMC MissingLink 9 is a reusable master link solution for 9-speed drivetrains using KMC, Shimano, or SRAM chains. It allows quick chain installation and removal without using a traditional chain pin, making routine drivetrain service simpler. This product includes two matching quick links, which is useful for keeping a spare on hand or for riders who remove their chain regularly for cleaning and maintenance. Key Features Reusable MissingLink design for repeated chain removal and installation Non-directional design for straightforward assembly Patented connector shape for secure chain engagement Silver finish for easy identification Includes 2 matching quick links Compatibility & Use Notes Compatible with KMC, Shimano, and SRAM 9-speed chains Not compatible with 10-, 11-, or 12-speed chains Designed for chains that support reusable master links Quick-link pliers recommended for easier removal after initial installation Service / Ownership Context Although reusable, master links should still be inspected during regular drivetrain service. If either link shows wear, deformation, or reduced holding tension, it should be replaced. Having a second link available is helpful for service work or unexpected chain issues.
