PEC is among the best of the best in measuring tool manufacturing, and has manufactured precision products in the USA for top brands like Mitutoyo, Brown & Sharpe, and Lee Valley. This is PEC Traditional machinist ruler with 1/64th of an inch increments. The front scale is 1/32" and 1/64", while the back scale is a decimal fraction conversion table. Built from premium spring-tempered stainless steel, the PEC classic 6-inch flexible machinist ruler has been a shop favorite for decades. Secure metal pocket clip keeps this ruler right where you need it-shirt pocket, apron, tool pouch. It is practical for machinists, woodworkers, or hobbyists who need quick precision measurements without pulling out a larger rule. The flexible steel rules mainly for measuring curved and round surfaces as you can bend them easily. The slim design allows you to get into tight spaces while the smooth surface prevents snags and scratches. Made in USA: Since 1960, industrial-grade tools have been manufactured to deliver exceptional American quality. Jonathan’s Hot Take: All good rulers have photo-etched indices, and PEC is no exception. This makes it super simple to set your marking gauge, dividers, or knife line. The satin chrome finish with black-filled graduations is easy on the eyes, making measurements a breeze. And just a note—while these rulers are flexible enough to measure curved surfaces, they’re still hardened steel. Don’t expect one of those rubber bendy rulers you carried in grade school.
